A flower wall at a brand event has to do more than fill a background. Its composition may need to frame a logo, support a product story and work for photographs with people standing in front of it. Those purposes should be agreed before the team selects a floral reference.
Custom flower wall fabrication brings the visual composition and the physical installation into the same discussion. For a launch, gala or corporate activation in New York or New Jersey, define the wall’s role, the surrounding space and the responsibilities of each supplier. That gives the designer a clearer brief than “a flower wall with our logo.”
1. Choose the wall’s main role in the event
Decide what the wall needs to accomplish first. Is it the arrival photograph, a backdrop for a product presentation or a focal installation within a larger branded environment? A wall can serve several purposes, but the team should know which one takes priority when making design decisions.
Describe the people and objects that belong in front of it. Consider an individual guest, a group, a speaker or a product arrangement. Explain whether the wall will be seen mainly from the front or from several directions, and show where it sits within the room.
Those decisions establish the composition to develop. They also help separate the wall itself from nearby elements such as a product stand, reception desk or another supplier’s scenery.
2. Develop the floral composition around the brand

Use references to communicate palette, density, silhouette and visible texture. Identify which features express the brand and which are simply appealing in the reference photograph. Agree how literal the relationship to the brand palette should be and who approves the interpretation.
Give the logo or message a place in the composition from the beginning. Show the intended outline and position rather than adding the artwork to a finished floral concept at the last moment. Ask the designer to review the flowers or greenery, lettering and any open space as one arrangement.
Arca’s flower and green wall fabrication service includes floral walls, greenery walls and modular floral structures. Discuss the desired appearance and confirm the floral or greenery selections, their supply and their installation within the proposed scope.
3. Assign the signage and attachment responsibilities
“Logo included” can mean different things to different suppliers. One team may understand it as artwork preparation, another as a fabricated sign, and another as placement at the venue. Name the deliverable and its owner.
Bring the following questions into the design conversation:
- Who supplies the approved artwork and confirms that it is the current version?
- Who produces the physical lettering, sign or graphic element?
- Who provides its dimensions and other information needed by the fabrication team?
- Who agrees the connection to the wall and coordinates installation?
- Who approves the final position and appearance?
If another supplier provides the sign, connect that supplier with the fabricator before either component is finalized. Have the connection evaluated for the particular installation. A photo of the desired effect does not establish how two separately supplied pieces will fit together.
4. Review the wall with the intended photographs in mind
Share the photographs the event team needs to produce. An individual portrait, a group photograph and a product detail each show a different portion of the installation. Ask the photographer to review the proposed framing and the space available in front of the wall.
Include people or products in the visual review so the team can discuss what remains visible. Consider whether the logo sits where it can be seen in the planned composition and how the surrounding event setting enters the image. Ask the lighting supplier to review the arrangement with the photographer rather than leaving their coordination until installation.
Resolve whether the back or sides of the wall will remain visible to guests. If the room plan changes later, revisit that decision. The approved front view should not be the only reference used by the team placing the installation.
5. Make approvals specific enough to fabricate
Collect the agreed dimensions, wall location, composition and signage information in one current reference. Record which choices are approved and which still depend on another supplier. Identify the person who can resolve a conflict between brand requirements and the event layout.
When appearance is still uncertain, discuss what additional review belongs in scope. That may be a revised visual, a material reference or another agreed way to assess the proposed result. State what the review is meant to establish rather than treating every reference as an approved specification.
Arca’s production services connect the design discussion with fabrication, transport and installation. Use the fabrication brief guide to organize the project information and the venue load-in checklist for access planning. Keep those logistics linked to the design record without turning the creative review into a second access checklist.
Frequently asked questions
Should we choose flowers or greenery first?
Begin with the wall’s purpose and the brand direction. Then compare the compositions that could support them. Confirm the selections, desired appearance and supplier responsibilities within the agreed scope rather than treating a reference image as a complete order.
Can a brand sign be integrated into the wall?
Bring the artwork and intended placement into the initial discussion. Identify the supplier of the physical sign and have its relationship to the wall reviewed. Approval should cover the sign, connection responsibilities and composition together.
What if the wall must work for both guests and product photos?
Show both intended compositions to the designer and photographer. Agree which takes priority, what needs to remain visible and whether the event team expects to move any surrounding elements between photographs.
